Chevrolet Tahoe

January 4, 2011 by

Meant to provide accommodation for individuals who still resent the way that the Blazer has gradually shrunk in size.

Tahoe is a substantial (SUV) sports utility vehicle with bags if luxury a patriotic riposte towards the ML Series from Mercedes-Benz. Leather trim, driver information centre and complicated audio provide a clue to its market pitch.

Given its bulk t isn’t any surprise that handling may become just a little vague at anything above the 55mph national posted speed limit, even if the LT version with uprated suspension pack continues to be specified.

A range of two- or four-wheel drive transmissions can be obtained.

Chevrolet Suburban

January 4, 2011 by

Built to a scale that dwarfs other models in the Chevrolet car range.

Suburban is sufficiently big to consider a few wardrobes in the load area, but still apparently leave space for any school reunion in the front Recognising this machine is really as well-liked by city dwellers as it is with country folk.

Chevrolet provide a selection of two or four-wheel drive systems, in each case powered through the same massive V8 engine.

Also pitch-perfect because of its market the vehicle is available with four wheel steering, which makes it simple to park trailers and horseboxes.

Chevrolet SSR

January 4, 2011 by

Here is a strange device; retro looks but a modem package underneath the skin, as well as an accommodation package that owes much to sixties surfing culture.

Part roadster, part pickup, the Chevy SSR transforms from the fully-enclosed roadster to convertible in under A few seconds.

Standard features incorporate a 300-horsepower Vortec 5300 aluminium small block V8. an electrical retractable hardtop, cast-aluminium 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels and ZQ8 Sport Suspension having a rear five-link design.

And in addition this is a special edition vehicle.

Chevrolet Monte Carlo

January 4, 2011 by

A substantially-sized two-door coupe sharing a lot of its source material using the Impala, the Monte Carlo screams ‘mid life crisis’ whatsoever who view it; comb-over hairstyles, paunches and failing eyesight all add up the need to go to the local Chevy dealership and purchase one of those cars.

Especially one using the race-style rear spoiler and bright yellow paintwork.

All joking aside, the vehicle handles well when the sports suspension package continues to be specified, and also the supercharged version has lots of oomph.

Just don’t dose one of these truck tailgate-sized doors in your hand you’ll spend the night time in A&E.

Chevrolet Malibu

January 4, 2011 by

Less overtly sporty compared to Maxx variant the 2004-series Malibu is winning friends thanks to its mixture of virtues, such as styling that is a match for Japanese contenders, high quality, and good packaging; it shares a lot of its floor pan using the Saab 9-3, GM Europe Vectra, and Pontiac Grand Am.

America is starting to come to terms using the notion of front wheel drive – no real surprise once the package is as well toned as this.

Low-key looks are deliberate; the model takes about the Toyota Camry and suchlike, so expect no dramatics in the styling department.

Chevrolet Impala

January 4, 2011 by

For several years the mainstay type of the Chevrolet range, Impala emerges with a number of drive train options even the SS a 3.8 litre supercharged model pumping out 240bhp, and supported by sports suspension and sharp brakes.

Lesser Impala models continue to be quite handy performers although handling is considerably softer and continue a tradition of offering satisfying packages for Mr and Mrs Middle America.

Body shell can be obtained in one layout only, the standard four door sedan; a wagon version is possibly in the future in the future.

Chevrolet Equinox

January 4, 2011 by

Designed to satisfy the demands of urban drivers who desire a sports utility with increased comfort compared to Blazer provides.

Equinox includes a similar footprint to its better-known stable mate but sits nearer to the floor which improves road holding and it has a marginally less powerful V6 engine of 3.4 litres displacement.

Accommodation is okay for five, there is a substantial load area by having an acceptably low rear deck height.

This will make the vehicle ideally suitable for school runs and expeditions towards the retail center. Most of all, the Equinox looks won’t scare the horses.

Chevrolet Corvette

January 4, 2011 by

A true American legend – and frequently claimed to become America’s only sports vehicle – Corvette like a concept has become in its sixth decade.

However the 2005 model year car is a world taken off those early fifties originals. A large car by sports vehicle standards the Corvette has V8 power under its immense hood, having a selection of 350 or 405 bhp 5.7 litre engines.

Performance is sharp like a knife by American standards but cannot work against European competitors in the same price range; it is too vulnerable to drifting with the bends.

If however your wish to fly Old Glory this is actually the sports vehicle to purchase.

Chevrolet Cavalier

January 4, 2011 by

Developed as an all-American equivalent model towards the European Vectra, Cavalier emerges in four door sedan and 2 door coupe variants, each utilizing the same 2.2 Ecotec four-cylinder engine and five-speed manual transaxle.

The activity version, with uprated suspension package and close-ratio gearshift, is proving a very popular specification amongst drivers who might just like a BMW, but who baulk at paying import prices or who just need to down-size but stick with a united states product. Lower series sedan is affected with image problem, though.

Chevrolet Blazer

January 4, 2011 by

Land Rover, BMW and Mercedes-Benz (and much more recently Lexus) might all be fighting within the off-road Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) vehicle sector.

However when you are looking at experienceing this status of America’s favourite, none come close to the Blazer.

For 2005 can be obtained in two or four-door models, by using merely a single engine option, the 190 bhp V6.

The accepted insufficient handling precision is rooted in a comparatively unsophisticated 4×4 system, however the machine is able to coping with rough terrain.

Blazers may be smaller today than they was previously, however the model’s reputation is really as big since it has ever been.

Chevrolet Aveo

January 4, 2011 by

Offered in four door sedan and five door hatchback models, Aveo may be the smallest offering from Chevrolet.

Made to satisfy the expected trend towards compact city cars (a trend that the American public is resolutely resisting).

Aveo runs on the selection of four cylinder engines, typically the most popular as being a 1600cc unit.

Breaking no new ground in relation to handling and ride quality-the car pitches and rolls a lot more than similar European market models would the package is proving popular on college campuses and in bigger cities, helped along by good economy figures.

Chevrolet Malibu MAXX

January 4, 2011 by

After many years of missing out in the core market to imports such as Honda, Toyota and Infiniti, Chevrolet has fought back using the Malibu Maxx.

Made to give a sporty silhouette but maximum practicality, the newcomer has won a clutch of awards because of its appealing mixture of packaging, ride, handling, performance and overall enjoyability.

The 3.5 litre V6 in the Maxx provides healthy performance that is attractive to people who require a family car but don’t wish to lose their fashion sense and individuality.

This is actually the to begin a type of crossover cars from Chevrolet expect much more similarly flexible machines in the brand in the next decade.
