Hummer H1

January 6, 2011 by

This is actually the Hummer for the all-hero type. Weather proofing is provided but apparently rarely used; a chunk from the benefit of the H1 is the fact that it is totally uncompromising.

It’ll go virtually anywhere because of its 325PS V8 and four wheel drive, and can pull a trailer weighing seven tons without really noticing. Floods? Mud? Loose gravel on the one-in-two hill? The Hummer just handles it.

Apparently the truly dedicated owners prefer to remove the quick-release doors, and ride at one with nature in this monster-sized wagon train vehicle de nos jours, it’s all of the subtlety of the runaway express train – but that is probably what buyers like concerning the H1.

Hummer H2

January 6, 2011 by

As if the vehicle didn’t curently have enough street presence, the favourite colour in the current range is zonking yellow.

Hauled along with a six litre V8 which produces sufficient torque to drag out ancient redwood trees without flinching, with four wheel drive which will go ahead and take machine virtually anywhere, there’s something ironic in the proven fact that you see many of these cars in the urban metropolis.

But that means something not; most owners have purchased these cars since they’re the toughest thing on four wheels.

In case this stuff matter, the vehicle can hit a lot more than 130mph – however , you would need to brave to test it.

Hummer

January 6, 2011 by

Once the American military decided it needed a robust functional, go-anywhere and go there quickly machine, a bright spark created the HMV. The Humvee, as that model is famous in USAAF circles, achieved such instant success it was inevitable that the civilian version would follow.

That’s the Hummer, made by General Motors, and sold to people to whom the biggest, toughest, Land Rover or GMC or Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon is simply too soft Wider than many trucks and riding excessive that step-ladders are advised for access, the Hummer emerges in two variants: the all-action open-top HI and also the closed cab H2.

And can you believe that there is a substantial market emerging for stretched versions from the H2 for individuals who think about a stretch Lincoln or Cadillac too much of a social understatement?

This isn’t an automobile for shrinking violets – Bruce Willis and Arnold Swarzenegger and both fans, apparently; but when you cannot are in position to be ignored, a Hummer may be the car for you personally.

Hyundai Tucson

January 6, 2011 by

A brand new entry-level model in Hyundai’s sports utility vehicle (SUV) range is Tucson, a concise machine geared at drivers who might possibly not have considered purchasing a 4×4.

Car-like amounts of comfort are promised, including leather seats, power-operated everything, along with a high-grade sound system. The option of engines continues to be selected to delivery sporty performance – this is also true from the punchy 2.7 V6.

Providing five doors in an industry sector more accustomed to three in cars of the size, Tucson delivers better-than-average handling regardless of the height from the car, and also the newly-developed four wheel drive product is intelligent; it runs as a front-drive car until a lack of traction is detected, after which it shares power to the trunk wheels too.

Hyundai Trajet

January 6, 2011 by

Hyundai’s multi-purpose machine is a hugely competent performer, in a position to offer buyers a great deal of car for cheaper prices.

Offered having a wide range of engines such as the 2.7 V6 used in the Coupe along with a 2.0 litre diesel, having a selection of manual or automatic transmissions, Trajet runs on the well-executed suspension system, and it has handling and ride characteristics that prove the Koreans are researching European tastes.

The vehicle has a flexible interior and very high amounts of safety – both key ingredients for the family buyers at whom the vehicle is aimed. The lavishly-equipped V6 DCX model, with leather trim and abundant goodies is staggeringly value.

Hyundai Terracan

January 6, 2011 by

Some of those names that gets lost in translation; it seems like a fusion of terror and may, neither which are desirable features in a sizable 4×4. Contradicting its name, Terracan is a usefully robust and proficient machine.

Hauled along with a 2.9 litre common rail diesel which pumps out substantial levels of torque, the rugged machine has been created to last, and it is both bigger and equipped than, say, the Jeep Cherokee which retails at almost half just as much again.

Accommodation is spacious, safety equipment levels are first class, and quality of ride is better than many in these kinds.

Permanent intelligent four wheel drive sees to hauling the Terracan from the most sticky of situations, and on-road behaviour is very good, too.

Hyundai Sonata

January 6, 2011 by

An automobile created for those who have outgrown the Accent and Elantra but have discovered to understand the core values of Hyundai – reliable and affordable cars for the masses – the Sonata shows how little the Koreans view the principles of sleek car design, mainly in the over-application of bright work and many body swage lines a lot of.

Car designers make reference to chrome are jewellery, and in the case from the Sonata the Impression is very a market stall selling costume bright-ware in down-town Seoul.

Ignore that, and also you realise that buyers obtain a large amount of car for very little money; this is also true from the 2.7 V6, which provides big car performance for the cost of a mid-range Vectra.

Hyundai Santa FE

January 6, 2011 by

Hyundai’s contender in the emerging sports and leisure off-roader sector, Santa Fe is a handsome machine that has been designed to undertake the Toyota RAV-4 in a price 10 % lower.

Engine choice is a 2.0 litre diesel, and only a 2.4 four cylinder or 2.7 litre V6 petrol. Two- or all-wheel drive could be specified, and ground clearance is enough for the machine to cope with sandy beaches or muddy fields once the latter option continues to be specified.

Handling on the road is very good – the 2×4 being much better than the 4×4 – and there’s sufficient ground clearance to really make it useful performer off road. Accommodation is spacious, and equipment levels are great, too.

Hyundai Matrix

January 6, 2011 by

Perceived very much as a ‘me too’ product in the all-important mid-sized multipurpose vehicle sector, Matrix is a five door machine offered with three engine options; a 1.6 or 1.8 petrol engine, or perhaps a 1.5 diesel.

Nobody gets terribly looking forward to this car, due to the fact it is not exciting in any area.

Performance is average, handling is average, braking is tight; this really is elevator music on wheels. But when you are in the marketplace for a no-nonsense, affordable method of having your children back and forth from school, the Matrix might be for you.

Its looks are quiet and understated – it had been styled by Pininfarina – also it does what it is designed to do, forget about with no less.

Hyundai Elantra

January 6, 2011 by

Mid-range buyers are catered for through the Elantra, that is offered having a 2.0 litre diesel as well as 1.6,1.8 and 2.0 litre twin overhead cam petrol engines.

It requires a brave individual the attempt to extract the potential for the 141PS – the suspension just isn’t as much as the task in hand.

Where that version from the car really makes its is cruising effortlessly – and quietly along highways, where it utilizes the miles effortlessly.

Associated with pension transfer Hyundai’s, it appears a little stylistically challenged, but that appears to matter little towards the legion of buyers, who consistently rate it as being excellent value. Poor interior trim fittings would be the only criticisms it attracts.

Hyundai Coupe

January 6, 2011 by

When it first appeared, the present type of Hyundai coupe was when compared to Ferrari 456GT. True, there are a few body lines that bear a passing resemblance (should you tilt your face to one side and squint) to that particular great grand tourer, but in reality, similarities were grossly overstated.

Easier to judge the vehicle subjectively. The Coupe is really very good car in its right, as well as the smallest engined 1.6 litre version is sharp and clean.

The V6 version, which yields 165PS, is hugely enjoyable, and between the two is a 2.0 litre able to 141 PS. Handling is pleasingly precise, and equipment levels are high. In all, a satisfyingly good package.

Hyundai Centennial

January 6, 2011 by

Created to suit the well, it is tough to work at whom this car is aimed aside from taste-challenged politicians in the emerging world – the Centennial is a large and imposing car that it is hard to ignore, no matter how hard you try.

Provided with whether V6 or perhaps a V8 under its lengthy bonnet, and packed with just about everything that it is possible to bring along right into a sedan, the equipment is tailored for providing luxury transport for five.

Don’t search for any type of driver involvement – it’s not that sort of girl – simply for soft, billowing comfort for the occupants and their golf equipment.

Hyundai’s impression of the 1970s American sedan appears to sell, no matter its looks.
